Approach

I provide psychiatric services that integrate psychotherapy with medication when indicated. I do this in context of appropriate family discussions about the problems, conflicts, strengths and support.

Generally, each person comes in distressed, seeking relief and trying to find balance of thinking and feeling. This starts with collaborative problem identification. We then need to define the onset, frequency, duration and intensity of symptoms. Planning integrates this information with accepted and innovative treatments.

• Second opinion consultations
